D4 Constructions Services employs its solid base of subcontractors and consultants to perform preliminary pricing and to offer suggestions. All cost data gathered on the project will be available to the project team members to determine comparisons to other past and present projects. These suggestions will be reviewed and sorted and the findings will be presented to the team. Recommendations will include, but are not limited to: different building materials, cost-saving ideas, alternate methodologies, constructability analysis, etc. This process may occur several times in order for the project team to find the best product, implementation and price. Once the project team agrees on the project specifics, a formal subcontractor solicitation begins; a final hard bid occurs and is submitted for approval for construction to commence.
